I encourage you to check out the plans for this project or at least the issue that featured this project for detailed measurements. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I used the same materials and dimensions from the article, wenge exterior, with curly\/bird&#8217;s eye maple for the inner liner. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The wire brush was used on the wenge box parts to give enhanced texture by basically brushing away the soft grain lines. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The only clip I missed recording was gluing in the wedge dowel in the elongated slot in the base where the two cords passed through to secure them tightly (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=qAkuZht2ePg&amp;t=870s\">14:30<\/a>). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Router bit used to clear out dovetail waste: Whiteside <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/hashtag\/3000\">#3000<\/a> Template Bit with Ball Bearing (1\/4&#8243; Shank, 1\/2&#8243; Cutting Diameter, 1\/4&#8243; Cutting Length). <\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed-youtube wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<span class=\"embed-youtube\" style=\"text-align:center; display: block;\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/qAkuZht2ePg?version=3&#038;rel=1&#038;showsearch=0&#038;showinfo=1&#038;iv_load_policy=1&#038;fs=1&#038;hl=en-US&#038;autohide=2&#038;wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\"><\/iframe><\/span>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I presented this box to my girlfriend in 2021.
